AI Writing — AI Writing FAQ

Frequently asked questions about AI Writing in OnPagePilot.

No, and that is deliberate. It proposes an outline from the brief first; you approve or change the structure. Then the article is generated one section at a time from that outline.

Regenerate just that section. Every section can be regenerated on its own, so one poor paragraph is fixed without touching the rest of the article.

Ten templates: blog post, landing page, product page, pillar page, how-to, listicle, case study, comparison, FAQ and about page. The template shapes both the outline and the tone.

Create your own personas and pick one per article. You define them - they are not a fixed list - so the same brief written for two brands reads like two brands.

Yes. AI Writing runs inside the SEO Editor, so the content, coverage and SEO scores apply to the generated draft immediately - and keep updating as you edit it.

LLM Visibility — LLM Visibility FAQ

Frequently asked questions about LLM Visibility in OnPagePilot.

ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, Perplexity, Grok, Google AI Mode and AI Overviews. For each, OnPagePilot records whether your brand - or a competitor - is named and cited in the answer.

Your share of the brand mentions in the AI answers for your keywords, measured against your competitors. It is snapshotted daily, so you see a trend rather than a single reading.

Yes. The citation lists show the pages the models actually pull from - yours and your competitors' - so you know what the answer is built on.

No. Each scan is kept per keyword, the sentiment of a mention is recorded alongside its citation, and competitor share of voice is overlaid on yours - and it all sits next to the competitor analysis, the audit and the content engine that changes the answer.

To your first scan. Scan logs are kept per keyword and share of voice is snapshotted daily from the day tracking starts; nothing in the platform deletes them, so the trend line grows with you.

SEO Editor — SEO Editor FAQ

Frequently asked questions about the SEO Editor in OnPagePilot.

On your own competitor session: the pillar and cluster context and the semantic terms extracted from the pages that rank for your keyword. The same brief for two different keywords looks different, because the ranking pages are different.

Content, term coverage and SEO. Coverage tells you which required terms from the brief are still missing; content and SEO tell you where the structure and on-page elements fall short. All three update live while you type.

From pages that already exist on your own domain. The editor suggests links to them so new content strengthens what you have rather than standing alone.

No. The editor, the brief and the live scores work the same whether you write every word yourself or let AI Writing produce the outline and draft. It is one editor for both.

The brief and the term-coverage score are built from a competitor session, so the editor is at its best after you have run one. Start with a single-keyword analysis in Topical Authority - it is the quickest way to a brief.

Support — Beta Testing FAQ

Everything you need to know about joining the OnPagePilot beta program.

A beta tester is an external user who tests a nearly complete product before its official launch. They identify bugs, assess usability, and provide feedback in real-world scenarios to help improve quality. They are crucial for discovering issues that internal testing might miss. A Closed Beta is restricted to a select group of invited users.

Beta testers are not employees of the company, nor are they developing the product. They use the product in their own homes or offices, not a controlled lab. They provide feedback on language, semantics, usability, performance, and bugs. We also have ongoing testing after the product is officially launched.

An alpha tester is an internal staff member — typically a software developer, QA engineer, or employee — who tests a product early in development within a controlled environment. They identify bugs, verify functionality, and provide technical feedback before public release, focusing on core stability and identifying major flaws.

Alpha testing is conducted in-house with white-box access to the code and internal structures. Alpha testers validate features, report detailed technical feedback, and simulate user scenarios including load tests. Beta testers, on the other hand, are actual end-users testing in real-world scenarios outside a controlled environment.

Yes. OnPagePilot supports monitoring and analysing multiple domains from a single account. Each domain gets its own dashboard, audit results, and content planner workspace.

Support — General FAQ

The practical questions about OnPagePilot, answered before you decide.

No. AI writing is one part of it. The core is crawling competitors' whole sites - every article, mapped by interlinks - which no other tool does. The rest (topical authority, citation tracking, technical audit, rank tracking) is included in the same plan.

Google penalises thin, unhelpful content however it's made, and rewards complete, helpful content however it's made. You stay in control of the draft.

They optimise a page. OnPagPilot crawls whole competitor sites, tracks your AI visibility, and audits your tech — in one place, on one bill.

Yes. The audit crawls your site, detects which CMS you're on — WordPress, Shopify, Webflow or custom — and generates fixes written for that exact setup, against your real pages. Not a generic checklist: the specific problem we found, and the specific fix, ready to hand to a developer.

You'll know what to publish and fix on day one. Rankings and citations follow the work — SEO still takes effort, and we won't pretend otherwise. What we remove is the guessing.

Support — Security FAQ

AI security and enterprise compliance questions, answered.

We employ a multi-layered defense-in-depth architecture consisting of 22 independent security layers. This includes real-time input sanitization (Layers 1-6), randomized delimiters (Layers 7-10) to prevent instruction overrides, and behavioral anomaly detection (Layers 21-22). Our "Security Engine" scans every interaction in real-time to identify and neutralize adversarial patterns before they reach the model.

No. We have a strict "No-Training" policy. Any data processed through OnPagePilot, including your prompts, proprietary business intelligence, and generated content, is never used for training OpenAI's GPT models or any other third-party LLMs. Your intellectual property remains yours and yours alone.

OnPagePilot is built with "Compliance-by-Design." We address the core requirements of the EU AI Act by providing full traceability (Layer 19), automated risk mitigation protocols (Article 9), and advanced tools for human oversight (Article 14). Our 22-layer framework ensures that we meet the transparency and robustness standards required for professional AI applications.

All data is encrypted in transit using industry-standard TLS (Transport Layer Security) and at rest using AES-256 encryption. Our infrastructure is hosted on secure, enterprise-grade Windows Server environments with dedicated SQL Audit Trails (Layer 19), ensuring that every data movement is logged and traceable for internal audits.

Yes. We support enterprise transparency. You can download our technical "AI Security & Jailbreak Defense" whitepaper directly from this page. For deeper security assessments or specific compliance questionnaires, our Data Protection Officer (DPO) is available to assist your IT-security team.

Our security pipeline is engineered for high-performance throughput, processing over 1.3 million log lines per second with parallelized validation layers. The "Security Engine" adds negligible latency (typically <15ms) to the inference process, ensuring that absolute security does not compromise user productivity.

Technical Audit — Technical Audit FAQ

Frequently asked questions about Technical Audit in OnPagePilot.

Seventeen check families: crawlability, response codes, robots and sitemaps, URL structure, titles, meta descriptions, headings and content, images and media, internal linking, pagination and navigation, structured data, social and Open Graph, HTTPS and SSL, international SEO and hreflang, JavaScript rendering, mobile performance and Core Web Vitals, accessibility, and analytics tracking.

Because the fix for a broken canonical is different on Shopify than on WordPress. The audit identifies the platform, the SEO plugin and the e-commerce layer - each with a confidence score - and every fix suggestion that follows is written for that stack.

WordPress (and WooCommerce), Shopify, Magento, BigCommerce, PrestaShop, OpenCart, Squarespace, Wix, Webflow, Drupal, Joomla, TYPO3, Ghost, HubSpot CMS, Umbraco, Sitecore, Kentico and Craft CMS - plus the Yoast and Rank Math SEO plugins. The audit checks themselves do not depend on the platform; a site on any other stack is audited in full, and the fix suggestions are then written from the issue details alone, without a platform line.

It is written by the AI from the details of that specific issue, for the detected platform - something you can hand straight to a developer or apply yourself. Not a generic "improve your meta descriptions".

Yes. The full report exports as PDF or CSV, and any single issue exports as JSON for a ticket.

Topical Authority — Topical Authority FAQ

Frequently asked questions about Topical Authority in OnPagePilot.

From the competitor pages that actually rank for your keyword. OnPagePilot fetches each of them in a headless browser and extracts the topics and terms they cover. It is not a keyword-suggestion list - it is what the ranking pages say.

A single-keyword analysis answers one question: what do the ranking pages for this keyword cover? A Topical Authority Map answers a bigger one: what pillar page and which supporting cluster pages do you need to own the subject? Use the first for one article, the second when you plan a whole topic.

Yes. Competitor pages are rendered in a real headless browser before they are analysed, so single-page apps and script-rendered content are read the way a visitor sees them, not skipped.

Directly. The pillar and cluster context becomes the brief in the SEO Editor, so the terms the editor asks you to cover are the terms the ranking pages cover. There is no export and re-import step.

No. Topical Authority works per ranking page for the keyword you choose - it is competitor-driven. Site-wide crawling is the job of the Technical Audit.
